For those that aren't aware, the Air Max Zero was actually conceptualised over two decades ago by Tinker Hatfield. It was almost drafted as the final design for the Air Max 1 but the idea was later scrapped due to inefficiencies during the manufacturing process. The Air Max Zero was deemed too costly to produce.Thankfully, we've come a long way and due to Nike's ongoing innovation, that one-piece upper becomes a possibility. On this pair it takes on a fresh shade of white and those synthetic overlays deliver comfort and durability. The neoprene and mesh adds to this desirability while an integrated lacing system optimises fit.This shoe has been called 'Ultramarine' which is appropriate given the subtle touches of colour which almost sit under the surface. A vibrant blue inner lining features, as does a tonal Swoosh and outsole. Finally, orange coloured branding completes this iconic look.The Nike Air Max Zero Ultramarine is scheduled to launch on Thursday 6th October via the retailers listed.
